Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist Location: West London Role Type: Permanent Salary: £44,000 The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join Fulham Cross Academy in West London, working within a mainstream secondary school and sixth form (ages 11–19) with a STEM-focused curriculum. Details The role involves supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs within a mainstream educational environment. You will help learners access the curriculum, develop communication skills, and improve social interaction and academic participation. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of secondary and sixth form students with speech and language needs Complete speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualised therapy plans and interventions Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team Support access to curriculum, including STEM subjects Contribute to EHCP reviews and educational outcomes Maintain accurate clinical records and reports Requirements HCPC registration Experience in paediatric or school-based speech and language therapy Knowledge of adolescent communication needs Ability to work independently in a mainstream school setting Strong communication and organisational skills Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
