Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist Location: West London Role Type: Permanent Salary: £44,000 The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a mainstream secondary school in West London supporting students aged 11–19. Details The role involves working within a mainstream educational setting with a general curriculum and sixth form provision, including a strong STEM focus. You will support students with speech, language, and communication needs to help them access learning, develop social communication skills, and achieve educational outcomes. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of secondary-aged students with speech and language needs Complete speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualised therapy and support plans Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team Provide strategies to support communication and classroom participation Contribute to EHCP reviews and educational outcomes Maintain accurate clinical records and reports Requirements HCPC registration Experience working within speech and language therapy, ideally in educational settings Knowledge of adolescent speech, language, and communication needs Ability to work independently within a school environment Strong communication and organisational skills Applying for roles If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities.
