The Role
As Executive Assistant will play a vital role in enabling effective leadership and supporting the success of our client’s business. As a trusted partner to the CEO, you will bring organisation, sound judgement and discretion to a position that extends beyond diary management—anticipating needs, coordinating priorities, and keeping communication flowing across the business.
Key Responsibilities to include
Manage the CEO’s diary, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and prioritising competing demands
Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries
Prepare, format and proofread correspondence and reports, papers, and presentations to a professional standard
Act as the first point of contact for the CEO, screening and managing calls, emails, and visitors with discretion
Organise and minute meetings tracking action points through to completion
Handle sensitive and confidential information relating to the business, leadership team, and stakeholders with absolute discretion
Liaise with stakeholders and clients on the CEO’s behalf representing them professionally at all times
Proactively manage tasks to ensure a smooth workflow
Skills & Experience that we need
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting C-Suite or senior leadership
Advanced Excel knowledge (formulas, pivot tables, data organisation, reporting).
Strong knowledge or PowerPoint and Word with the ability to produce polished, presentation ready documents
Exemplary self-organisation and time management, able to juggle multiple priorities under pressure
Excellent attention to detail, particularly in written communication and scheduling accuracy
Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and external contacts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Honest, trustworthiness, and absolute discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
Ability to work independently, use initiative and proactively find solutions to issues should they arise

The Offer
This is a permanent fully onsite position, based in Clonmel Co. Tipperary, offering a competitive salary to reflect the complexities and responsibilities of the role plus benefits package, depending on the successful candidate’s experience.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am –5pm
Applicants must have unrestricted permission to work in Ireland, be available to interview in person, and live within a commutable distance of the client’s office.
