We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist – Acute Wards & Emergency Medicine to work on a temporary basis in Lincolnshire. Please see details of the role below:\n\nRole Details\n\nRole: Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist – Acute Wards & Emergency Medicine\nDays: Monday to Friday\nHours: 9am to 5pm\nPay: £36ph\nStart: ASAP\nLength: Ongoing\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join a busy acute and emergency medicine team in Lincolnshire. At Band 8a level, you will provide expert clinical pharmacy input across acute wards and the emergency department, leading on medicines optimisation and supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to acutely unwell patients. Duties will include complex clinical screening and verification of prescriptions, providing expert medicines advice to acute and emergency multidisciplinary teams, leading on medicines optimisation initiatives within the speciality, supporting and mentoring junior pharmacy staff, and contributing to the development and implementation of medicines-related policies and guidelines across acute services.\n\nRequirements\n\nCurrent GPhC registration\nMinimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience at Band 7 or above\nDemonstrable experience in senior clinical pharmacy practice within an acute or emergency medicine setting\nStrong knowledge of medicines optimisation, clinical screening, and evidence-based prescribing in acute care\nAbility to work at pace and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-moving environment\nExperience leading or supervising pharmacy teams\nExcellent clinical decision-making and communication skills\nAbility to work autonomously and manage a complex clinical workload\nWhy work with Cpl UK Healthcare?\n\nCpl UK Healthcare are a market leader in recruiting AHPs across the UK.
