Our client, a leading global technology organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join their established Design Systems team on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the design foundations of a large-scale portfolio of enterprise software products.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in evolving and scaling the organisation's design system, focusing on component libraries, visual standards, interaction patterns, and accessibility best practices. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and fellow Designers, you will help create consistent, high-quality user experiences across a complex product ecosystem.
This role would suit someone who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys solving complex UX challenges, and has a strong passion for design systems and enterprise-scale products.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the visual design and interaction strategy of the organisation's Design System.
- Design and maintain scalable components, patterns, and foundational design assets.
- Partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Design to gather requirements and define solutions.
- Collaborate with front-end engineering teams to achieve strong alignment between design and code.
- Support accessibility initiatives and ensure design standards align with AA accessibility requirements.
- Translate user research findings into actionable product and design improvements.
- Support product teams in the adoption and implementation of the Design System.
- Manage design deliverables in line with Agile product development cycles.
Required Experience
- Strong experience working with and evolving design systems for enterprise software products.
- Proven UX/Product Design experience within B2B technology environments.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing strong problem-solving and design thinking capabilities.
- Excellent interaction design, visual design, and user-centred design skills.
- Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams.
- Ability to understand technical constraints and design effective solutions within them.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern design workflows.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience within infrastructure, engineering, construction, or related sectors.
- Exposure to 3D, CAD, or complex technical platforms.
Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
