Cpl Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a residential care provider for a Social Care Team Leader to join a service supporting Separated Children Seeking International Protection.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Care professional to step into a leadership role within a child-centred, trauma-informed residential service. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the home, mentor staff, and help create a safe, supportive environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day operation of the service.
- Promote safe, child-centred and trauma-informed practice.
- Support, supervise and mentor Social Care Workers.
- Oversee care planning, risk management and record keeping.
- Build positive relationships with external professionals and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, safeguarding requirements and organisational policies.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
