Corporate and Commercial Solicitor | Galway

We are seeking an experienced Corporate and Commercial Solicitor to join their growing practice in Galway.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to work directly with partners and clients, undertake high-quality property work and play an active role in the continued development of their property practice.

The role

The successful candidate will advise a broad range of Irish businesses, companies, shareholders, directors and entrepreneurs on corporate and commercial matters. 

The role will involve a varied workload which may include:

      Mergers and acquisitions and the purchase and sale of businesses;

      Corporate restructurings and reorganisations;

      Share and asset purchase agreements;

      Shareholders' agreements, investment agreements and joint ventures;

      Corporate governance and general company law matters;

      Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements;

      Due diligence and transactional documentation; and

      General corporate and commercial advisory work.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the firm on transactions involving commercial property, employment, litigation and other areas of practice. 

Role Requirements:

      Be a qualified solicitor with relevant post qualification experience in corporate and/or commercial law;

      Have strong technical, drafting and negotiation skills;

      Be commercially aware, practical and solutions-focused;

      Be capable of managing matters independently while working effectively as part of a team;

      Have excellent communication and client relationship skills;

      Be able to manage a varied workload and competing deadlines; and

       Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and excellent attention to detail
