We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor to provide practical legal advice across a diverse range of employment, commercial, and corporate matters, supporting the business in achieving its strategic objectives while managing legal risk.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, delivering high-quality legal guidance and contributing to key business initiatives.
This position will be mainly remote - with on site required for 1st week
Key Responsibilities
Employment Law
- Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of employment law matters.
- Support HR and business leaders through disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Advise on workplace investigations, organisational change programmes, restructuring initiatives, and employee relations matters.
- Provide guidance on data protection and privacy issues arising in the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and best practice.
Commercial Contracts
- Negotiate, review, draft, and advise on a wide variety of commercial agreements.
- Support procurement activities through the preparation and negotiation of supplier and service agreements.
- Draft and review intragroup, outsourcing, and supply chain contracts.
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks while enabling business objectives.
Corporate Governance
- Provide legal support on corporate governance matters and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with board and committee governance requirements.
- Support corporate reporting obligations and subsidiary management activities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
General Legal Support
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver pragmatic and commercially focused legal solutions.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the organisation.
- Provide support across other legal disciplines as required.
