Threat Detection & Response Leader
We are seeking an experienced Threat Detection & Response Leader to lead cyber threat intelligence, advanced incident response, and cyber resilience capabilities within a large healthcare organisation.
As the senior technical authority during major cyber incidents, you will oversee Level 3 (L3) incident response, drive continuous improvement in threat detection capabilities, and play a critical role in protecting patient services, clinical systems, and sensitive healthcare data. You will work closely with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, regulators, and managed service providers to strengthen the organisation's cyber security posture and align capabilities with NIST 2.0, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and industry best practice.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years' experience in cyber threat intelligence and incident response.
- Proven experience leading Level 3 response to large-scale, high-impact cyber incidents.
- Strong background in regulated environments, with healthcare experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at the intersection of technology, risk, and executive decision-making.
- Deep expertise in threat intelligence, adversary modelling, malware analysis, intrusion analysis, digital forensics coordination, and endpoint, network, and cloud incident response.
- Strong knowledge of NIST 2.0, NIST CSF, and recognised incident response frameworks.
Qualifications
- CISSP
- GIAC/SANS incident response certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, GCFE or equivalent highly desirable.
