Overview
Our client, a leading Tier 1 global banking institution, is seeking an experienced Axiom Developer to join their Risk & Finance Technology function on a high-profile contract engagement.
This role sits within a strategically important technology programme focused on regulatory reporting and finance transformation. The successful contractor will work alongside global stakeholders, business analysts, and engineering teams to develop and enhance critical regulatory reporting solutions that support key finance and risk functions across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
As an Axiom Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, and enhance Axiom ControllerView solutions for complex regulatory and finance reporting requirements.
- Build scalable, high-performance applications supporting business-critical finance systems.
- Participate in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and identify automation opportunities across reporting processes.
- Collaborate closely with business users, analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver best-in-class reporting solutions.
- Support the evolution of a strategic regulatory reporting platform with an extensive roadmap of future enhancements.
- Ensure solutions meet stringent requirements around performance, stability, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute within Agile delivery teams operating across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience with Axiom ControllerView
- Strong Oracle PL/SQL development skills
- Experience delivering solutions within regulatory reporting environments
- Knowledge of COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit, and/or Statistical Reporting
- Understanding of financial products, banking operations, and asset classes
- Familiarity with XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language)
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks
- Proven ability to develop and support enterprise-scale financial systems
Highly Desirable
- Prior experience within an investment bank or large financial services organisation
- Exposure to finance transformation or regulatory change programmes
- Experience working within globally distributed technology teams
- Understanding of risk and finance data architectures
