Social Media Specialist / Community Manager (Europe)
1-Year Contract | Dublin or London | Hybrid Working
We are partnering with a global technology company that are seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their European marketing team on a 12-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading international brand, supporting social media activity across key European markets including the UK, Germany, France, and the Nordics.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing and growing social communities across Instagram, Facebook, and Threads, creating engaging content, supporting community management, and adapting global campaigns for local audiences. Working closely with marketing teams, agencies, and stakeholders across Europe, you'll help deliver impactful social media campaigns that resonate with regional audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support social media activity across multiple European markets
- Create engaging content including posts, Stories, Reels, and short-form video
- Localise and adapt global content for regional audiences
- Support community management and audience engagement
- Monitor trends, social conversations, and platform updates
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agency partners
- Maintain content calendars and publishing schedules
- Track performance and provide insights to improve future campaigns
About You
- 3-5 years' experience in social media management or community management
- Previous experience working across multiple markets or with a global brand
- Strong content creation skills with experience using Canva or similar tools
- Excellent understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and social media best practices
- Analytical mindset with experience reviewing campaign performance
- Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills
- Fluent in English, French or German (written and verbal)
Nice to Have
- Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Sprinklr, or Meta Business Suite
- Background in technology, entertainment, consumer brands, sports, or automotive sectors
- Experience localising content for different languages and cultures
