Role Details
- Role: Band 5 ACT Pharmacy Technician
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Pay: £23.66ph
- Start: ASAP
- Length: 3 months, with potential to extend
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accuracy Checking Technician to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team in West London, with cross-site working across two well-established hospitals. You will be responsible for providing accuracy checking support across the dispensary, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines to patients. Duties will include the accuracy checking of dispensed items, supporting the smooth running of the dispensary, and working closely with the wider pharmacy team to maintain high standards of accuracy and patient safety.
Requirements
- GPhC registration
- Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
- Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification essential
- Proven experience in a dispensary-based accuracy checking role
- Ability to work across multiple sites
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
