Cpl Recruitment is partnering with a leading organisation to hire a Data QA Engineer for their growing data team in Dublin. This opportunity is suited to a QA professional with 5+ years' experience in software quality assurance, including hands-on experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of business-critical data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Validate end-to-end data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems.
- Execute manual and automated testing strategies across data products.
- Identify, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Monitor data quality and support root cause analysis of data-related issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to drive quality best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Software QA, with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating large datasets.
- Experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, or data warehouse environments.
- Experience with cloud data technologies, ideally AWS.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of QA best practices, Agile delivery, and defect management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Applicants must hold Irish or EU Citizenship
