The Job:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will be a key part of the team & be strongly focused on supporting weekly & monthly accounts processing duties across diverse business units within the overall corporate structure.
More specifically the candidate will cover duties including, but not limited to, supporting the month end & annual close processes, managing AP & AR invoicing, investigating variances & potential issues in accounts reports, resolving queries, ensuring the accurate submission of accounts payments, updating supplier account information, liaising with audit teams & assisting the accountants with their projects.
Your Skills/Experience that we need:
- 3rd level degree ideally in business studies, accounting or another relevant discipline.
- An additional qualification - eg Accounting Technician or similar - would be a major advantage.
- 2-3+ years experience ideally gained in a broad based accounting support role.
- Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to engage with people at all levels of seniority.
- Strong IT & reporting skills.
The Offer:
This position is being offered as a permanent role with salary depending on experience but expected up to range to approx. 38-39k with a strong additional benefits package & career progression opportunities on top.
Following initial training which will be fully in office, this role will then move to hybrid with 2 days working from home/remote.
