Audit Senior – Cork City | Leading Top 10 Accounting Firm
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic Cork City–based team within a leading Top 10 accounting firm. This role offers exposure to varied and interesting clients, with responsibility beyond the numbers — building strong client relationships, identifying risks, and delivering meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client correspondence and agree audit timelines
- Review work and provide feedback to junior team members
- Manage a client portfolio where appropriate
- Prepare planning memoranda, identify risk areas, and plan audit evidence
- Monitor work in progress, budgets, and deadlines
- Complete critical audit areas on selected engagements
- Ensure statutory and tax filing deadlines are met
- Identify opportunities for additional firm services
Requirements
- Part-qualified with practice experience
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Sage, Alpha Tax, CaseWare, and VPM/Central
- Strong communication, organisation, and client management skills
- Commercially aware and able to manage multiple priorities
