I am currently looking for an experience Civil/ Structural Engineer to join our team on permanent basis. This position is based in Dundalk.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
· Qualified Civil/Structural Engineer with 5 years’ experience.
· Experience in working in Ireland/UK
· Chartered Engineer or working towards.
· Co-ordination / liaison with other multidisciplinary team members both internally and externally.
· Candidate will carry out structural design of multi-storey buildings in various materials (steel, masonry, reinforced concrete, timber frame) from concept stage to detailed design and site supervision (R.C./steel & timber). Design to Eurocodes and BS.
· Civil engineering design including roads, car parking and sustainable stormwater drainage design.
· Competency in Structural design software including TEDDS, Master series, AutoCAD & REVIT
· Competency in Civil design software including Civil 3D, Causeway, Micro drainage, etc.
· A good understanding of construction techniques, sequences of work, temporary works, Irish Building Regs and working under BCAR
· Assisting in undertaking duties of the PSDP, Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier.
· Able to mentor junior staff members.
· Interface closely with Clients and the architectural team and control staff resources to time & budget.
· Knowledge of /experience in working in an (ISO 9001:2015) environment.
· Ensure compliance with the relevant Health and Safety legislation.
· Experience in leading a project team on small to medium scale projects preferable
· Flexible and Enthusiastic; Able to prioritise; good organisational skills; Attention to detail.
