Position Overview
My client a global Tech Company working in the is looking for a DevOps engineer to join our Agile development team!
The role includes supporting our dev team on day-to-day infrastructure needs, new backlog requirements, and ongoing procedures around security, build, and deployment.
This also includes developing tools to provide self-service support to the dev teams and interact with global teams who provide infra services.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with our graphics dev team on infrastructure needs - including new development or maintenance
· Monitor/manage production infra
· Develop scripts to automate manual procedures
· Build tools to enable self-service experience
· Collaborate with Eng. manager on project planning and timelines
· Collaborate and sync with the global infrastructure platform on FRs, tickets/issues, and different implementation requirements
Required skills and qualifications
· 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a similar software engineering role
· Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
· Problem-solving and a can-do attitude
· Collaborative team spirit
· Responsible and cooperative
· Good written and verbal communication skills in English
· Experience with JavaScript package managers and bundlers such as npm/pnpm/yarn, webpack/Vite, browser testing and automation (Playwright).
· Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/CloudBees.
· Self-managed and independent
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field (advantage)
Knowledge of scalable and highly available systems that follow operational best practices
Experience working within distributed, cross-geography org, and virtual teams
