Digital Manufacturing Lead (1-Year Contract)
Experienced lead required to drive deployment of key digital manufacturing systems at a pharmaceutical site. The role focuses on coordinating site teams, managing system rollouts, and ensuring compliance with global standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute rollout plans for digital manufacturing applications at site level
- Report programme progress to site leadership and escalate risks as required
- Coordinate site teams and global stakeholders to ensure effective implementation
- Ensure adoption of global digital standards while accommodating local requirements
- Manage timelines and scope in alignment with manufacturing schedules
- Ensure local resources are available and trained to support deployment activities
- Align project workstreams with production schedules to minimise disruption
- Identify risks and key decisions early and implement mitigation plans
- Lead system cutover activities including downtime planning, training, and validation
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or related regulated industry
- Degree qualification in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience deploying digital systems such as MES, LIMS, SAP-PM, or data historians
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional site teams in manufacturing environments
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement capability
- Knowledge of GMP environments and compliance-driven system implementations
- Experience with lean manufacturing or process automation is advantageous
- Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is beneficial
