Overview:
As an EHS professional, you will provide comprehensive support to ensure the company complies with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations. Your primary goal is to protect employees and third parties through safety programs and by advising on best practices. You will collaborate with senior management to implement effective systems and continuously improve EHS processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain a strong EHS culture across all sites.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding inspections and incidents.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Work with the Regulatory & Compliance team to achieve the relevant accreditation at all sites and assist during external audits.
- Report on key performance indicators and provide data for management reviews.
- Support the development of Emergency Response Plans and Business Continuity Plans.
- Lead health and safety training and new employee inductions.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A third-level qualification in health & safety/environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Full driver’s license and willingness to travel.
