Job Title: Events Executive

About the Role
A leading corporate law firm in Dublin city centre is seeking an Events Executive to join its busy BD & Marketing function. Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with a small events team, this role offers the chance to deliver high‑quality internal and external events in a professional services setting.
This position is ideal for someone with solid corporate events experience, particularly from legal, financial, or other professional services backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Execution
- Deliver a range of events including seminars, client receptions, hospitality evenings, and firm-wide initiatives.
- Oversee all event logistics such as registration, CPD admin, guest communication, and post‑event follow‑ups.
- Supplier & Agency Management
- Coordinate with external vendors including venues, AV, print suppliers, and caterers to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Sponsorships & Membership Engagement
- Support the firm’s involvement in industry memberships and coordinate sponsorship activities.
- Corporate Hospitality
- Manage internal and external hospitality requirements, including attendee lists, seating plans, catering arrangements, and event collateral.
- General Administration
- Handle invoicing, payment tracking, and provide administrative support for BD and marketing initiatives.
- Brand Materials & Merchandise
- Maintain stock of branded items and oversee distribution of merchandise for events and campaigns.
About You
- 4+ years’ experience in events or corporate hospitality, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Skilled in managing external suppliers and coordinating event logistics from start to finish.
- Familiarity with event marketing and supporting promotional campaigns.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel essential).
- Comfortable setting up basic AV/IT equipment for both in‑person and virtual events.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
