Field Services IT & Electronics Technician
Our client, a leading entertainment technology provider, is seeking a hands-on Field Services IT & Electronics Technician to join their team. This role will suit a technically minded individual who enjoys problem-solving, working with electronics, and ensuring complex systems run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair & Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain state-of-the-art arcade and casino gaming machines, ensuring consistent uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across PC-based systems and electronic components.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site technical assistance to operational teams, ensuring any system faults are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Workshop Management: Maintain and manage spare parts, stock, and tools to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep accurate service records, identify recurring faults, and suggest improvements to prevent future issues.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all company and regulatory safety standards in the workshop and on-site.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in IT hardware repair (PCs, consoles, laptops, or similar) or a relevant qualification in electronics or IT.
- Strong soldering and component-replacement skills.
- Proven ability to fault-find and repair electronic or IT systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full, clean driver’s licence and access to own transport.
