Our client, a large and well-established international manufacturing organisation, is seeking a Finance Business Partner (FP&A) to support financial performance and strategic decision-making across the business. This is a high-impact role, working closely with senior leadership to deliver insight, challenge assumptions, and drive operational and commercial excellence in a complex, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Finance Director and senior leadership to deliver actionable financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
- Drive investment, cost optimisation and innovation decisions through robust financial analysis
- Provide clear and insightful monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis against budget and forecast
- Recommend corrective actions to support the achievement of EBITA and broader financial targets
- Lead periodic cost reviews with budget holders to ensure financial discipline
- Own the annual budgeting process and deliver a detailed, initiative-driven business plan
- Prepare quarterly forecasts, monthly and weekly flash forecasts, and long-range (5-year) P&L planning
- Collaborate closely with group finance, operational finance partners and accounting teams to ensure alignment and transparency
- Promote financial literacy across non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making through strong business understanding
- Support strategic projects, ad-hoc analysis and provide cover for senior finance leadership when required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Proven experience operating as a Finance Business Partner to non-finance functions
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and BI tools is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change
