Graduate / Part-Qualified Accountant – Finance Team

About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance graduate or early-career accountant to gain hands-on industry experience while working towards professional accounting qualifications. You will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support reporting and compliance processes in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
- Support accounts consolidation, intercompany transaction management, and compliance activities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain and update financial records in accounting systems
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
- Participate in training and development activities related to accounting qualifications
- Work with the finance team to ensure all group reporting deadlines are met
Requirements
Essential:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently studying)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
Desirable:
- Previous internship or work experience in a finance role
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
- Working towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
