OB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement HR strategy across the Group with the CHRO.
• Develop and execute social relations strategy and ensure strong relationships are built with social partners.
• Develop appropriate employee engagement and retention initiatives with Regional HR Managers
• Ensure all talent practices: hiring, leadership development and succession planning practices are delivered in market.
• Contribute to the development of global policies and processes and be responsible for their implementation in market.
• Identify local needs and build and execute local people strategy
• Partner across Talent management team to ensure tools and solutions are appropriate.
• Ensure performance management (GPS) practices are adopted by leaders and across functions
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with Regional Directors & Regional HR Managers and key stakeholders,
• Develop Employer Brand in conjunction with HR team.
• Oversee all Employee Relations and advise on a local level on appropriate actions and plans.
• Oversee workplace investigations and lead the management team on processes.
• Represent the company at third party hearings and liaise with legal teams and group.
• Ensure Oprea HR Groups standards are implemented and maintained.
• Build and maintain a high-performing team / Coach and advise leaders
• Bring new and innovative thinking to the market
• Develop a strategic workforce planning management policy.
• Lead change management and HR transformation projects.
• Define and implement a compensation & benefit strategy
• Managing Group HR data’s strategy (HR dashboards, social balance sheet, etc.).
• Advise and support managers in terms of HR management and development,
• Developing uses of new technologies through HR development systems and digitalization of training programs, self-assessment, online training and knowledge management
QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum education required
Ideally CIPD Qualified or relevant HR qualification
REQUIRED PROFILE
Skills & knowledge
• Ability to work efficiently in a decentralized, international setting (federating people, supervising, providing the right support and control)
• A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible and varied HR experience ideally in a multi-site environment, preferably in healthcare or the hospitality industry.
• Solid understanding of Irish employment law keeping abreast of significant developments that impact upon the workplace.
• Experience in transformation situations with successful participation in change management efforts and exposure to TUPE desirable.
• Commitment to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact, discretion and integrity.
• Experience with generating and analysing HR metrics to drive business results along with proven and reliable business acumen.
• Experience managing multi sites across an organization.
• Experience managing and leading a team of HR professionals
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong expertise in legal and employee relations
