Healthcare Assistants – Nationwide Opportunities in Ireland

Cpl Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants for full-time permanent positions across nursing homes throughout Ireland. Our clients include some of the country’s most well-established and respected Nursing Home Groups.

These opportunities are open exclusively to UK and EU passport holders, in line with the 50/50 recruitment rule.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, and overall well-being. You will be part of a team that values kindness, respect, and professionalism in every aspect of care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
Support residents with mobility, meals, and hygiene
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behaviour
Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
Foster a safe, warm, and welcoming environment
Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

EU or UK passport (essential for employment eligibility)
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) – modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare or elderly care setting is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for caring for older people
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
