Healthcare Assistants – Nationwide Opportunities in Ireland

Cpl Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants for full-time permanent positions across nursing homes throughout Ireland. Our clients include some of the country’s most well-established and respected Nursing Home Groups.
These opportunities are open exclusively to UK and EU passport holders, in line with the 50/50 recruitment rule.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, and overall well-being. You will be part of a team that values kindness, respect, and professionalism in every aspect of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Support residents with mobility, meals, and hygiene
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behaviour
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
- Foster a safe, warm, and welcoming environment
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- EU or UK passport (essential for employment eligibility)
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) – modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare or elderly care setting is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for caring for older people
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
