Excited to be working with a leading international consultancy known for delivering some of Ireland’s most ambitious building projects, as they’re on the lookout for an experienced ICT Engineer who’s passionate about smart, sustainable design.
This is a chance to join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers shaping future-ready buildings across commercial, healthcare, education, and data centre sectors.
What you’ll actually do:
· Design ICT systems - everything from structured cabling to smart building tech and security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
· Create technical specs, drawings, and layout plans.
· Get involved in client meetings and help turn their needs into high-performing, future-proof solutions.
· Collaborate with other design disciplines (mechanical, electrical, fire, etc.) to make sure everything integrates smoothly.
· Visit sites occasionally to see your designs come to life and troubleshoot where needed.
What we’re looking for:
· Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in ICT or building services design
· A degree (or equivalent qualification) in an ICT, electrical, or related engineering field
· Solid understanding of industry standards and codes
· Confidence working with clients and project teams
· A keen interest in tech, sustainability, and smart buildings
· Working towards (or interested in) Chartered Engineer status
