About the Role
Cpl is currently recruiting for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Analyst to support a leading organisation within the manufacturing sector. This three-month temporary contract offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced support professional to contribute to the smooth operation of critical production and business systems.
Mitchelstown Location - Onsite 3 Days Per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first- and second-line IT support to onsite and remote users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide support for manufacturing systems, shop-floor equipment, and production-related IT assets.
- Maintain IT infrastructure including PCs, printers, mobile devices, and network components.
- Log and manage support tickets through the IT service desk system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist with system updates, installations, patching, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to IT security standards and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Produce user documentation and deliver basic training where required.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an IT support rol
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and core networking principles.
- Experience supporting hardware such as PCs, handheld devices, barcode scanners, and printers.
- Familiarity with ERP or MES environments is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a time-sensitive setting.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage workload independently while collaborating within a wider IT team.
