I.T. System Administrator – Hybrid Infrastructure & M365
We are working with a well-established Irish organisation seeking an I.T. System Administrator to join their Enterprise Services team.
This role focuses on managing and securing a hybrid IT environment across on-prem infrastructure and Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities
- Administer Windows Server (2019+) and virtualised environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Manage Active Directory (on-prem and Azure), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
- Support patch management, security tools, audits, and firewall change processes.
- Act as an escalation point for Level 1 support and contribute to technical projects where required.
Requirements
- 3rd level IT qualification with 3+ years’ experience in a similar systems administration role.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, M365 administration, and networking fundamentals.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, virtual environments, and security technologies such as patching, AV, and firewalls.
