Technical Support Advisor – Dublin 2 | Full-time, Hybrid
I am hiring for a Technical Support Advisor to provide IT support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing IT requests, and helping maintain secure, efficient systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- First- and second-level IT support (Windows, MS365, core applications, hardware, and workplace tech)
- User account administration and access management
- Patching, upgrades, backups, and security maintenance
- Troubleshooting connectivity, OS, software, and hardware issues
- Providing ad-hoc user training and guidance
- Collaborating with IT teams and vendors on projects and problem resolution
Requirements:
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, and basic networking
- Familiarity with MDM solutions, endpoint protection, backup systems, Citrix/Terminal services
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Third-level IT qualification or relevant certifications (MCSA, CompTIA A+/Network+)
- Experience in financial services/insurance is a plus
