Role: Laboratory Technician
Location: Merseyside
Length: 12 months contract
Pay: PAYE
My client is a world leader in the Animal Health space. They are a dedicated team, committed to ensuring the health and welfare of animals, pets and farm, is the best it can be. This exciting and driven company are looking to add a Laboratory Technician to their growing teams.
This exciting new role is perfect for someone who has graduated from a degree relating to chemistry. It is perfect to add 12 months experience working for a highly respected firm in both a challenging and diverse role.
Your Key Duties include:
Performing complex Chemical and/or Microbial analysis
Sample Handling (Receipt/Storage)
HPLC
Core Chemistry
Wet Chemistry
Physical Testing
Ensuring documentation is maintained
Ensuring the Laboratory and all work is compliant with EHS and cGMP
Calibration and maintenance of equipment and stock
Requirements
Degree within Sciences (preferably Chemistry related)
Experience of working in a Laboratory
Knowledge and understanding of GMP
Desirable
Experience with Core Chemistry in industry including chemical testing
Experience with Wet Chemistry in industry including titration, inorganic chemistry etc.
Experience with Physical Testing in industry including particle size testing, LOD etc.
