Our client, a global leader in financial services technology, is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design and drive a next-generation enterprise CI/CD pipeline strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building scalable Jenkins infrastructure, fostering DevOps culture, and ensuring high-performing deployment solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage a unified enterprise pipeline using Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and related tools.
- Build a scalable, secure, and efficient CI/CD platform to support multiple IT teams.
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers and developers.
- Champion the adoption of DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Oversee pipeline governance, security, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Drive automation initiatives and operational excellence across the environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on expertise with Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong experience building the Jenkins platform
- Proficient in coding (Python, Node.js preferred) and automating infrastructure deployments (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
- 8+ Years experience in Devops + experience in financial services or similar highly desired
- 3+ years' experience leading technical teams and delivering CI/CD solutions at scale.
- Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and ITIL frameworks.
- Proactive, collaborative, and passionate about innovation and operational excellence.
- Minimum Stamp 4 Visa and live within a commutable distance to Dublin
