Legal Advisor, perm – Financial Services, Dublin

Strong drafting and negotiation skills? Some in house experience or perhaps you are in private practice and would like to move in house? Perm role that will suit a Solicitor and/or Barrister with 3 to 4 years PQE. If you have a solid interest level in investment funds/asset management - this role will offer excellent mentorship and training with great scope and future opportunity. If you are commercially minded - they will bring you fully up to speed provided you are very keen to working in this area of financial services.

·       Drafting, review and amendment of contractual arrangements with distribution counterparties

·       Drafting, review and maintenance of agreements in the intercompany distribution contractual framework

·       Drafting legal documentation (prospectus, supplements, management regulations, etc..) pertaining to Luxembourg-domiciled and Irish-domiciled funds and managing filings with the relevant supervisory authorities,

·       Support the maintenance of the registration framework and processes around passporting requirements of products in the EU and in other non-EU jurisdictions;

·       Monitor and report on regulatory developments at EU / global level pertaining to distribution marketing

·       Provide a general legal service to the Product Development, Investments, Sales and Distribution teams across the Group in terms of responding to and advising on queries received;

·       Work with Product, Sales and Distribution teams to ensure awareness of the laws and regulations

Experience of UCITS/AIFMD/MiFID II/CBFD/CP86/CSSF is preferred but not essential. Applications are welcome from candidates with more general experience who have a genuine interest/commitment to develop their career in this area.
