Legal Executive
A leading commercial law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Executive to support its real estate team on renewable energy property transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist, growing practice area with the guidance of an experienced partner while owning and progressing your own files.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with a partner specialising in renewable energy property matters. You will be given strong support and direction, but also significant autonomy and responsibility for progressing and completing transactions. The role involves reviewing title, drafting agreements, managing pre‑option stages, coordinating completion steps, and maintaining consistent communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review title documentation and prepare high‑quality drafts of option agreements and leases
- Manage pre‑option enquiries, conduct and review searches, and oversee the proper execution and completion of option agreements
- Handle stamp duty processes and prepare/lodge inhibition forms with Tailte Éireann
- Maintain accurate, organised correspondence and document management throughout each transaction
- Provide clear, timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all work meets high professional and organisational standards
Successful Candidate
- Previous experience in property law, including reviewing title and understanding property transaction workflows
- Strong experience as a Legal Executive (this role is not suitable for NQs)
- Excellent communication skills and strong client‑facing skills
- Demonstrates sound judgment, with the ability to recognise when to escalate matters to the partner
- Highly motivated, results‑driven, and capable of taking full ownership of progressing files
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
