Maintenance Technician / Production Technician
📍 Manufacturing Environment | Shift-Based Role (Three Day Work Week, 12 hour shifts)

The Role
As a Maintenance / Production Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You’ll play a key role in supporting production teams, minimizing downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line technical support to production operations
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve equipment and machinery issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machines
- Carry out machine changeovers between product families
- Complete First Article Inspections and prepare associated reports
- Attend Tier 1 Production Meetings and contribute technical input
- Write and maintain shift reports and technical documentation
- Interface with engineering, production, and product teams to resolve technical issues
- Provide feedback on product performance, improvements, and recurring issues
- Support evaluation of new products and processes
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across equipment and procedures
- Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and company policies
- Participate in training sessions as required
- Support ad-hoc technical and production projects as needed
About You
You’re a hands-on, solutions-focused technician who enjoys troubleshooting and getting to the root cause of technical issues. You work well in a team environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a technician or manufacturing support role
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to identify root causes and provide clear evidence-based solutions
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, manuals, and technical documentation
- Basic mathematical skills
- Comfortable using a PC for data entry, reporting, and documentation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
