I am currently recruiting for Microbiologist Team Leader on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be joining a very experienced Environmental team to be based in Newry, Co. Down.

Roles & Responsibilities;

You will manage a team of approximately thirty Cleanroom Microbiologists so that environmental sampling of classified cleanrooms is conducted in full compliance with all health and safety, GMP and regulatory requirements.

·       Management and scheduling of Cleanroom Microbiologists based on production requirements.

·       Coaching & Mentoring of Cleanroom Microbiologists in line with skills progression framework in conjunction with the departmental Learning and Development Specialist.

·       Management of planned absences, including the approval of Annual Leave requests.

·       Support with recruitment of Cleanroom Microbiologists.

·       Assisting in the reviewing and compilation of Standard Operation Procedures and other technical documentation in line with current GMP and regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for;

·       Third level qualification or 5 years relevant experience

·       At least two years’ experience supervising or managing a large team within a fast paced environment

·       Experience of working in a regulated environment
