Curatorial F Archivist
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Curatorial F Archivist (E01 Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract, with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate - £17.43 per/hr
· Location – DfC, HED Heritage Records Designation, Titanic Boulevard
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
· Review of digital photographs for uploading to a Digital Asset Management System (DAMS). This will include:
· Ensure images are sorted and ordered correctly to enable efficient upload by administrative support staff.
· Ensure correct identification and naming conventions are supplied and applied.
· Identify any issues with catalogue information and liaise with Architectural colleagues to resolve these.
· Identify any issues with uploading to DAMS and work with the relevant photographic manager to resolve these.
· Review of slides or prints to prepare for digitisation, addressing the same work areas as above.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
· At least a second-class honours degree
And
· A recognised archival qualification, such as a diploma or MA in archival administration
Or
· 1 years’ experience in applying archival principles, policies and practices, such as cataloguing, managing, organising and providing access to records in digital or hardcopy formats
Desired Experience/Qualification
· Experience of using collections management systems / Digital asset management systems
Relevant or Equivalent Qualifications
