Project Engineer – 12-Month FTC
Location: Wexford
We are hiring a Project Engineer to join a leading global medical technology company. This role supports the introduction and manufacturing of new products, from development through to full-scale production.
You will lead engineering projects, support New Product Introduction (NPI), and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Working cross-functionally, you will play a key role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Role
- Lead engineering projects from concept to production
- Support NPI activities including equipment installation, validation, and ramp-up
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Troubleshoot technical issues and drive data-led solutions
- Maintain project documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitor timelines, risks, and project performance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in project engineering or similar role
- Experience delivering engineering projects in manufacturing/tech environments
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- CAD experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) desirable
- PMP certification an advantage
