Occupational Therapist - Dublin

Occupational Therapists, Senior or Staff grade required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for new opportunities in CHN Clondalkin (Base: Rowlagh Primary Care Centre).

The requirements are:

·     Preferably have some adult primary care / adult medical / adult disability / seating / complex cases / neurological / palliative care experience.

·     Need to have access to a car (almost all work is taking place in service users homes in / around the Clondalkin area).

·     Proficiency in written and spoken (healthcare) english

·     The duration is 3 months, and may be extended month – month.

·     Preferably the candidate(s) would also have an enthusiastic attitude and be keen to take on what is a challenging work environment –meaning lower than average staffing levels, and lengthy waiting times.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the Occupational Therapy team supporting the Primary Care Centre

• Provide assessment and intervention

• Comprehensive clinical induction, access to some HSE training as required by the role (determined by OT manager)

The Candidate:

• A recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist with CORU registration

• Permission to work in Ireland

• Professional approach to work

• Flexibility in work practice
