Operations Manager
Location: Dublin 2 (with regular travel across Ireland)

A leading player in the entertainment and leisure industry is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the performance of nine high-traffic venues across Ireland. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role focused on driving commercial outcomes, enhancing operational standards, and enabling General Managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
This position reports directly to the Board of Directors and acts as the key link between HQ and on-site teams—owning performance, implementing strategy, and ensuring every location operates to the highest standard.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring nine General Managers to build a high-performance, accountable culture.
- Managing full P&L responsibility across the retail portfolio, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and margin improvement.
- Standardising customer service, compliance, and operational processes for a consistent, high-quality experience.
- Translating company objectives into actionable site-level plans, supported by hands-on leadership.
- Collaborating closely with HR, Marketing, and Finance teams to align site and group initiatives.
- Setting and tracking performance metrics; conducting regular reviews and providing coaching to drive improvement.
- Delivering clear, data-driven reports to the board on performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Managing cross-site projects such as refurbishments, technology rollouts, and venue launches, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Requirements include:
- 5+ years in operational management, preferably across multiple sites in retail, hospitality, or similarly fast-paced sectors.
- A proven track record of full P&L ownership and delivering consistent financial growth.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy (P&L, cash flow, balance sheets).
- Experience leading and developing geographically dispersed teams.
- Analytical thinking with a strong execution focus.
- Skills in cost optimisation and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide several days per week.
