The Role:
You will be working with the Corporate Team to diligence financing structures as part of acquisitions and disposals in the active infrastructure secondary market.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Advising as part of cross-border and interdisciplinary teams to advise on complex financing transactions for Irish and international infrastructure investors, utilities, financial institutions, alternative lenders, funds and project SPV companies and management teams.
- Actively engaging in business development and thought leadership initiatives and seeking out opportunities for new work including through participation at industry conferences and regular firm client seminars.
- Drafting financing/security documents clearly and concisely, advising on project-specific legal risks and using legal knowledge and commercial judgement to advise and support all of our clients.
- Developing strong relationships with the firm's clients, ensuring the highest quality of service and acting in a diligent, responsible and professional manner.
Expertise and Skills:
- 2-4 years relevant post qualification experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills
- High level of commercial and business awareness
- Calm and measured approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
