An established manufacturing organisation operating within a regulated environment is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop its quality function. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with strong leadership experience and a background in ISO 13485 environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining best-in-class quality standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
· Champion high-quality standards and drive improvements across all quality-related metrics.
· Analyse quality performance, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
· Oversee inspection and audit activities, ensuring audits and inspections are completed in line with schedules and compliance requirements.
· Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 13485, ensuring appropriate procedures, standards, and certification requirements are met.
· Provide quality support to New Product Development (NPD) projects, ensuring quality integration from concept through to product launch.
· Liaise with regulatory and statutory bodies to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations.
· Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of any corrective actions.
· Drive achievement of key quality KPIs and objectives.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
· Third-level qualification in Engineering, Science, Quality, or a related discipline.
· Previous experience working with Quality Management Systems, including ISO 13485 and internal auditing.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience within Quality Management
· Demonstrated experience making quality and compliance decisions in regulated environments.
· Previous people management experience.
