Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Dublin
Cpl are once again working as the exclusive search partner with our client in Dublin 24.
They are a German multinational who are the #1 global brand in industrial adhesives and chemical manufacturing.
There is now an opening in their team in Dublin for a Reg Affairs and Product Safety Specialist to join the team.
This can be a hybrid role but, some of the team choose to work on site 5 days a week.
To succeed in this PSRA role, you will be supporting a network of EU customers on all manner of queries and questions pertaining to the product safety information of the company’s extensive adhesive and chemical product portfolio.
Another key part of your job will be to work closely with both the Irish and the European R&D teams to ensure that all Reg affairs and product safety criteria are met for new products, either recently developed or in development.
The product portfolio in this company is “extensive” and there are numerous customers across Europe that will need PSRA support and the team in Dublin, they are all subject matter experts in this area.
As the PSRA specialist, not only will you be engaging with the external customer base, but you will also ensure that the Global product inventory is fully compliant for all PSRA in the different countries where they sell the products.

Main day-to-day responsibilities -
- You will focus on authoring and monitoring and updating of EU Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for the adhesives business.
- Customer support in relation to the safe use of adhesives for all the EU customer portfolio
- As the PSRA specialist, you will ensure compliance of new product development to relevant EU Regulations to assure new product development success and product safety compliance.
- When necessary, will notify product management, product development in advance of emerging regulations, which may have an impact on SDS/labelling or import compliance of adhesives.
- As the PSRA Specialist, you will interpret regulations as they apply to adhesives including traded goods and toll manufactured formulations.
- Project work e.g. regulatory compliance projects.
What makes you a good fit for this role?
If you have a degree in Chemistry or a Chemistry related field, if you are familiar with either “CLP REGULATIONS or REACH REGULATIONS”
Some of the key skills and qualifications that are necessary -
- Degree in Chemistry is essential.
- Previous experience working in European chemical control regulations is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Excellent relationship building, presentation and organisational skills required.
- SAP is an advantage but not essential.
