The Role: Residential Services Manager (RSM2)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full -Time 39-hour contract, Monday - Friday
Service location: Ballybane, Galway
Service type: Acquired Brain Injury Residential Service
Salary: Ranging from €66,125.61 - €70,345.25 (depending on experience) plus on call payment up to potentially €2k
Overview of the Role
The Residential Services Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operational delivery of a designated residential centre, acting as the Person in Charge (PIC) in line with HIQA regulations and relevant safeguarding legislation. They will provide strong leadership to staff, ensure high‑quality, person‑centred services, and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders in collaboration with the Regional Manager. The role includes responsibility for resident safeguarding, service quality, and the integration of best practice across the organisation. Candidates should be committed to supporting people with disabilities and acquired brain injuries in a community‑based, inclusive and rights‑focused manner.
Essential Requirements
· Third level qualification or equivalent (NFQ8) in Health and Social Care management
· Full, Irish driving licence
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care
· Mental Health training/experience an advantage
· Acquired Brain Injury related experience and formal training is a distinct advantage, but not essential
