💡We are seeking an experienced Residential Service Manager / Person in Charge (PIC) to lead the operational delivery of a HIQA-registered residential service in Galway, supporting people with disabilities and Acquired Brain Injury.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, safety and compliance of a designated centre, ensuring services are delivered in line with legislation, best practice and person-centred principles.
The Role
- Overall management of a designated residential service as Person in Charge
- Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations and safeguarding legislation
- Lead, support and develop a multidisciplinary staff team
- Manage operational planning, risk, quality and service improvement
- Liaise with families, stakeholders, regulators and senior management
- Oversee resources including staffing, finance, buildings and equipment
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, quality and inclusion
📝Requirements
- An appropriate third level qualification or equivalent (NFQ8) in Health and Social Care.
- Health and Social Care Managers Qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in management or supervisory role in a HIQA-registered services
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Full driving licence (essential)
- Experience in Acquired Brain Injury, disability or Mental Health services is an advantage
- Excellent organisational, communication and decision-making skills
- Flexibility, including participation in an on-call rota
