We are currently recruiting for a Senior Automation Engineer on a full time, permanent basis. You will be joining the specialist site engineering team to be based in Co. Cavan.

Roles & Responsibilities;

·       Oversee all plant automation systems.

·       Maintain and manage all aspects of the Plant Batching System, manufacturing communication network, and Predictive Control System.

·       Oversee maintenance of Medium Voltage Equipment.

·       Manage Manufacturing UPS Systems.

·       Monitor and analyse trends in OSI PI, SCADA, etc.

·       Consult and adhere to any relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks, ensuring full understanding and compliance.

·       Plan and schedule work according to plant demand and available workforce.

·       Ensure all employees and contractors are fully familiar with safety rules and regulations.

·       Strive to reduce product costs by improving efficiency.

·       Ensure no faults occur; if they do, make necessary adjustments and conduct checks until the issue is resolved.

·       Coordinate CAPA investigations that impact Engineering.

Key Criteria;

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent discipline.

·       5+ years relevant experience in Automation engineering.

·       Experience working with siemens PLCs is essential.

·       Experience working on ignition (scada) would be highly advantageous advantage.
