My client, an International EPC group, has a number of openings for experienced Senior Civil Engineers with previous experience within heavy industry, oil & gas, renewables, etc..
We are looking for motivated and experienced senior/principal civil engineers to work on the design and site project management of power stations, as well as a future pipeline of projects.
You will provide your civil expertise to successfully deliver our projects, in collaboration with clients, contractors, stakeholders and project teams.
The key responsibilities will include a selection of the following points, depending on your technical experience and the position you take within our team:
- Providing technical leadership and team management to deliver work packages effectively.
- Coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project stakeholders.
- Providing technical review and responding to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to support contractor activities on site.
- Conduct and review analysis of structures carried out in FEM packages (experience in using Ansys beneficial).
- Provide technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings.
- Provide expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures.
- Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Supporting the business development team during the tendering process for our future project stream.
We would love to hear from people with
- Bachelor’s or master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered with Engineers Ireland, or with equivalent experience and willingness to obtain.
- Experience in the use of Ansys or equivalent structural FEM software.
- Experience in reinforced concrete calculation and design.
- Working familiarity with relevant technical Codes of Practice and Industry Standards
