Position: Senior Fullstack Engineer
Location: Galway, Hybrid
Type: Contract (12 month)
Important: This role is only open to Stamp 4 holders, EU or Irish citizens
Your Expertise:
· You are passionate about producing outstanding work while collaborating with talented colleagues.
· You bring extensive experience with modern programming languages and frameworks, including 9+ years working with Java, Spring Boot, REST API microservices, Kubernetes, Lambda, and AWS.
· You have practical technical leadership experience, guiding and mentoring scrum teams tasked with delivering business-critical, distributed software solutions.
· You possess strong communication abilities and the technical depth required to participate in and influence discussions with architectural and business stakeholders.
· You have hands-on experience with application design and development.
· You are familiar with CI/CD processes and tooling such as Git and Jenkins.
· You have worked with UI technologies like Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, or similar frameworks.
· You understand Agile development practices and how they enhance team performance.
· You have exposure to Oracle or another relational database system.
· You demonstrate a consistent ability to partner effectively with both technical and business teams.
Your Skills:
· You write high-quality, thoroughly tested code while adhering to established processes, standards, and best practices.
· You ensure the systems you support are stable, resilient, and reliable.
· You take ownership of end-to-end delivery, ensuring that requirements and user stories meet the expectations and needs of our business partners.
· You have a history of mentoring junior team members and supporting their growth.
· You contribute to the financial well-being of many Fidelity Investments customers through your role on a team that supports a broad range of business initiatives aligned with this mission.
