Current Need:

A vacancy now exists for a Senior Process Engineer within SM Europe. This is a day role supporting a 24/7/365 world-class manufacturing organisation. The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for the manufacture of APIs and Intermediates, including the technical transfer and validation of new chemical processes.

Essential Responsibilities

·      As a Senior Process Engineer you will ensure that manufacturing schedules and volumes are met in a consistent and timely manner.

·      Support for NPI (scale up, technical transfer and commercialisation of new compounds) in the manufacturing facilities.

·      Involvement with OpEx, simplification initiatives and projects.

·      Ensuring that the manufacturing facilities are operated in a manner that meets all current Good Manufacturing Process and environmental standards.

Minimum Requirements

·      Senior Process Engineer should have a primary degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related science degree.

·      5+ yrs experience in NPI and/or tech transfer desirable.

·      Experience with new technology introduction would be an advantage.

·      An Operational Excellence certification (yellow, green, black belt) would be an advantage.

Preferred Requirements

·      Sound awareness and understanding of pharmaceutical business with API experience.

·      Ability to operate efficiently in a complex matrix organisation and international environment.

·      Strong verbal and written communication skills with well-structured communication and presentation ability to various audience levels.

·      Thorough, diligent, good attention to detail.
