CPL Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable children’s service provider that is expanding from the Midlands into County Tipperary. This expansion will see the opening of new, purpose-led children’s residential services, offering an exciting opportunity for experienced leaders to be involved from the outset.
This role is ideal for a passionate and experienced Social Care professional who is motivated to lead, shape, and develop a high-quality service for young people in care.
The Role
As Social Care Manager, you will have full responsibility for the effective delivery of a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed residential service, ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.
Key Duties
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the children’s residential service
- Recruit, supervise, and develop a skilled and motivated staff team
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, safeguarding requirements, and legislation
- Oversee care planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes
- Build strong relationships with young people, families, and external professionals
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience
- Level 8 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a children’s residential setting
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of HIQA regulations and child protection practice
