Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with a leading disability services provider are seeking applicants for the role of Social Care Quality Lead.
The Social Care Quality Lead will provide expert leadership in quality assurance, service improvement, and person-centred practice to support the organisation with HIQA registration.
This role will be central to embedding robust quality systems, strengthening policy and practice, supporting teams through change, and ensuring that services are designed and delivered in line with HIQA standards, New Directions frameworks, and person-centred approaches.
The Social Care Quality Lead will work collaboratively with stakeholders to establish a sustainable culture of continuous improvement, choice, community participation and high-quality outcomes.
Candidates must meet the following criteria relevant to the role:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Health Act 2007–2013, HIQA Standards, and New Directions, as well as the broader regulatory frameworks governing disability services in Ireland.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Care, Nursing or relevant qualification at degree level or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in Health Care, Quality, Risk or Governance is seen as advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in disability, social care, or healthcare services, including at least 3 years’ experience in a quality, governance, or management role.
- Experience in managing and developing staff, including performance management, mentoring, and professional supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with advanced report writing ability and experience preparing reports for Senior Management and Board Committees.
- Strong project management skills, with proven ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines, and deliver outcomes.
- Ability to build relationships and promote collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport, as the role requires travel between sites.
Salary and qualifications are in accordance with Department of Health consolidated pay scales: Grade VII Scale €60,013-78,015 LSI.
